When I was growing up a lot of the photographs that are in an old cedar chest that I still have are all in black and white….going up until the mid 60s or so and going back as far as the early 40s or mid 40s. The photographs of my father and my parents and my grandparents, they’re all in black and white. So to me I guess it’s just carrying that that old, old tradition forward.
Ouimet Presents
Podcast: Ep. 1
James Gonzales is a San Antonio photographer who’s work I’ve admired on Instagram. His black and white images capture the highs and lows of central San Antonio – from smiling faces to deep despair.
After following his feed for more than a year, I decided I had to find out more about James, and his photos. Hear my conversation in this podcast on Ouimet Presents.
